DOB: 10/15/xxxx Hi there party people! My name is Karibu. I was named Karibu which means 'Welcome' in Swahili because I am the friendliest cat you'll ever meet in your entire life. I am so friendly during adoptions events if people go by my cage without petting me, I reach out to them with my paw and let them know that nobody passes my cage without giving me a petting. Then they pet me and I purr loudly and I lounge on their laps and pet them back by nudging on their chins with my head and giving them kisses. I am very outgoing, confident, active and affectionate. My favorite activities are lounging on people's laps, getting pettings, purring, and playing with my toys and kitty friends. While I am not an exotic breed, I am exotic looking. I am very petite and slender with a long neck and shiny black fur. It looks like I will remain as petite as I am now throughout my adult years, though don't let that fool you. I have a strong personality and I can stand up for myself and I am almost never scared of anything. Not even giant dogs! A lot of people think I look like the cats from Ancient Egypt. Well, there is a possibility that I may be related to them because I was actually rescued in Turkey when I was a tiny stray all by herself on the streets of Istanbul. A nice lady rescued me, brought me to Los Angeles and got me into foster care. I am looking forward to finding my forever home and give you lots of love and happiness. I am spayed, de-flead, dewormed and up to date with my vaccinations.
